About Us

Built in Newfoundland

GrovaSense is a Newfoundland-based startup developing modular, plug-and-play IoT systems that simplify monitoring for modern horticulture. We're currently in our R&D phase, refining our hardware and software to deliver a best-in-class monitoring solution.

Founded by Alex Noseworthy, a gardener and small farmer who knows the frustration of crop loss firsthand. With 20+ years of experience in software development, IoT systems, and cloud architecture, Alex combines deep technical expertise with a genuine understanding of growers' challenges. As a Newfoundlander, he sees the urgent need for sustainable local food production—we can't keep relying on food shipped from thousands of kilometers away.
